All these long projects were not satisfying the A.D.D quilter in me, so when my hip old granny asked me to whip up a case for her new android tablet last night, I was more than happy to oblige!
I didn't follow a pattern as such, just added about an inch to the tablet dimensions, and sewed a simple pouch. The blue flower fabric is Heather Ross, not sure of the origins of the yellow, but it was in my sash and uber cute. I lined it with some Anna Maria Horner flannel so its really floofy and soft :-)
I also got a little bit creative with the ol' perle cotton, but that was more for my benefit than granny's!
Hoping you've all had a lovely weekend! Mine has been filled with small graces such as partner allocations in the Mouthy Stitches swap, roast dinner out with family, an unexpected visit with a 6 week old puppy, and of course the obligatory kitty cuddles :-)

what a lovely cover and I love those fabrics
ReplyDeleteLove the pouch!! I have some of the yellow birds in my stash but also don't have a clue what line they are.
