Not a whole lot of sewing went down this month, I was mostly working on Paula's quilt, which I rambled on about here.

I also went on a photography course, and took some fairly nice (if I do say so myself) pics of the countryside.
I made my granny a little Android tablet pouch thingy, and went a bit OTT with the perle. But I liked it anyway!
I placed my first order with Zipit, and reveled in the rainbow colours just a little bit too much.
I decided on a design for the Mouthy Stitches swap, now I just need to see if I can realize it. A 6" swoon block?! Am I mad??
And finally, or initially, depends how you look at it, I did my first successful bit of hand piecing and created a rose star. This will become a pillow/cushion soon for a birthday pressie. I'm thinking a linen background, and maybe some cerise or orange piping?

ReplyDeleteYour quilts are so lovely. Nothing says HOME like a quilt. I tried my hand at a few some years ago and really enjoyed it but am so much better with yarn, hooks & knitting needles! I admire your talent. HAPPY STITCHING!
