These lovelies are free to
Okay, to open the bidding we have this delightful set of FQ's in the popular purple and green colour way. My 2 favourite colours... who knew they would make such an awful paring in fabric.
Secondly, we have these 2 beautifully floral FQ's. The blue one has some chunks missing... oddly I can't even remember what I used it for. They're not all that bad actually, just not my style.
And finally, after reading Fiona's posts I thought I would offer these partially sewn quilt blocks. I had every intention of making them into a baby quilt, but I kinda went off the idea.
Some are sewn, some are not so sewn... I got the idea from the one yard wonders book; cut a yard of stripy fabric into strips, make some HST's and sew them back together. Sadly, it just didnt float my boat. The green and yellow are much more vibrant in person, by the way.
So, if on the off chance anyone does want these, just leave me a conment below! (make sure you leave your email if you are a no reply blogger). Also, check out all the others in the linky party, because its down-right hilarious.

purple is one of my favorite colours but i dont think i could really go for the top two ,but it is fun going to see all the fugly stuff :)))
ReplyDeleteI would love the floral ones please.... if this is open to International as I live in France!
ReplyDeleteIf no one claims the blocks, I'd gladly take them to make a baby quilt for Project Linus.
ReplyDeleteI actually like the purple ones. I'll gladly take those off your hands :)
ReplyDeleteI love purple so I'll throw my hat in for the purple/green fabrics please!
ReplyDeleteI think I might be too late LJ, but if you ever have another clearout, Bee Blessed will gladly take fugly off your hands!! Jxo
ReplyDeleteI actually like (a lot) those purple and green ones...and the blocks would make a great lap quilt for the senior center - they're actually great colors! I'll leave the florals for someone else lol. VermontPines at aol dot com
ReplyDeleteNo thanks Laura - Have too many fuglies myself but it is interesting to see what lurks in everyone's cupboards!
ReplyDeleteLove the green and yellow and blue blocks. I think I could make a cute baby quilt with those. The rest would be an awesome bonus. I really like the purple and green fq's as well.
ReplyDeleteI would love to have them all, but that would be greedy, still... corbitt56@gmail.com
ReplyDeleteI wouldn't mind making the blocks into a finished quilt. I really like the blocks that are already finished.
ReplyDeleteI love the florals! I am collecting them and collecting them and collecting them. Thanks for the chance to add to my stash.
ReplyDeleteAhh so you had some hiding away too.... Actually like the blocks, but I've got enough wips of my own.
ReplyDeletePurple and green-- another of my favorite combos! :-) My Mom's, all 3 of my daughter's , my granddaughter's , and my birthstones are all green or purple! :-) A couple of years ago, I participated in a birthday block swap-- we each chose our favorite colors and which block we wanted. I chose Lover's Knot in purples and greens-- and it turned out very pretty---- SO... please add me to the "Purple & Green Wanter" list! :-)
ReplyDeleteNow see, I am admitting to quite liking the purple & green stuff.
ReplyDeleteI think in the right project those top fabrics would be nice.
ReplyDeleteThe purple and green aren't too bad, could use them for something or other
ReplyDeleteI have to say that I agree with you, those purple ones are not my favourite!
ReplyDeleteHa, I've been desperately avoiding commenting on most of these posts just in case I actually end up with some (especially after Hadley's threat ;o) )
ReplyDeleteI`m not actually entering your giveaway LJ - just wanted to say `hi` and I`m admiring your choice of fuglies!
ReplyDeleteI like your fuglyness and totally entering to win. They look great.

As a added bonus you can stop by my blog and enter to win a quilt by me by guessing my babys b-day and weight!
Now, I'm not ready to adopt any of these goodies, but the little quilt blocks have potential. Are you really that gone off from this idea?
ReplyDeleteI love the first ones :) I love pink and purple :) Would love to win them

ReplyDeleteI loves to offer a home to the purple and green fabrics.
ReplyDeleteOh dear, please don't pick me!
ReplyDeleteWell I don't know about anyone else but I think there all lovely - maybe the floral ones a bit questionable - who hasn't made the fabric-purchasing mistake of adding an fq or two of those.
ReplyDeleteOh, I'd love to offer a new home to the quilt blocks. I actually like the colors and the pattern. I could finish sewing those up in no time and have a cute new quilt.

ReplyDeleteI like the quilt blocks! The colors are the same colors I'm planning for a nursery!
ReplyDeletehehe your are absolutley truly right on the purple and green fuglinesses (is that still a word?) at the top. Can't agree on the floral stuff. I know a big fan, so I would be happy to take over the responsibility for turnign them into some presents.
ReplyDeletelol, these posts are definitely giving me a giggle! Glad I am not alone with the fabric skeletons in closets...but I really don't need anymore :) x
ReplyDeleteThe givings are funny...and honestly some are really ugly, I'm afraid to enter in case I win! =) LOL
ReplyDeleteI would love to take your blocks and finish a baby quilt...I need a boy quilt soon. That top fabric isn't too fugly to me either. =)
Thanks for giving me an entry.
I would love the blocks. I make quilts for kids in foster care who are in the hospital (I'm also a foster parent). I would turn these blocks into something fun and fabulous.
ReplyDeleteThanks so much for the giveaway! I like either set in the top 2 photos! I make prayer quilts for our church ministry & would love to use the fabric in our quilts!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the giveaway, count me in. I love the purples!
ReplyDeletePlease enter me for all three. I make quilts for our church quilt ministry and we send quilts to orphans in foreign countries and donate quilts to our local pregnancy help center. Thanks for the giveaway!
ReplyDeleteI actually really like the purple and green!! I guess one person's fugly is another person's treasure! Please consider me for these ones ;)
ReplyDeleteI could finish those blocks off - and may be I could do something with the first pile - but not all together - if you pick me for the flowery stuf - please please send it to someone else on the list!
ReplyDeleteI really like the purple and greens :)

I actually like the floral ones and the Green and Purple. They would be lovely as cloths for my little girl. I like the idea of something a little unique rather than the current most popular fabric line everyone is making things from.
ReplyDeleteLove the floral FQs. Can I have them....

There's no such thing as Fugly! Bit of dying, layering and embellishment and anything can come out lovely. Would appreciate purple and greens for my textile course experiments.
