I missed out on the last one, so I thought I would try my hand at creating a winning fabric bundle. Its is NOT as easy as it seems. This took almost my entire lunch hour, but I'm actually really pleased with it.
Its a bundle I would seriously consider buying, if it were sold in Brenda's shop. When I look at it, I think of lolly pops, picnics, fiesta, carnivals and caravans... Its got a bit of a vintage feel, but it still ultra modern.
Quilt wise, I think it would work well as wonky log cabins, or as a drunkards path type pattern, with all the circle quarter's and background quarters a different fabric.
The fabrics are:
Time for Tea Floral in Aqua
Hello Pilgrim Jewels in Aqua
Mono Pez in Aqua
Daisy's Dates in Graphite
Seeds in Grey
Dash Stripes in Cloud Grey
Summer Totem in Grapefruit
Sketch in Pink
Leaf Thistle in Fiesta
Seeds in Orange
Ta-dot in Tangerine
Hello Pilgrim Jewels in Orange
Wish me luck!!

You seriously used the word lolly pops in your post, Laulipops?!!
ReplyDeleteI would use that bundle too. Send me one if you win! ;-)
Me too! I would actually buy that bundle!
ReplyDeleteI made one too. It took ages, but I really enjoyed doing it. Maybe I should spend more time looking at fabrics in this way to work out what goes together. My mosaic is on flickr http://www.flickr.com/photos/stitchedtogether/6996401905/
ReplyDeleteThis my favorite of the first 20. Makes me think I want to try my hand at it too. I'm sure it isn't easy at all. Good luck!
