The whole time I was making this block, I had this little nursery rhyme running through my head:
Peter Piper picked a peck of pickled peppers;
A peck of pickled peppers Peter Piper picked;
If Peter Piper picked a peck of pickled peppers,
Where's the peck of pickled peppers Peter Piper picked?
A peck of pickled peppers Peter Piper picked;
If Peter Piper picked a peck of pickled peppers,
Where's the peck of pickled peppers Peter Piper picked?
Sometimes I actually hate my brain. Gah.
I showed you some instagram pics of this block yesterday, but since I finished her up last night, I thought she was worthy of some proper photo's :o)
I decided to sash each block in one of the prints I'd used in the body. I was gonna go with wonky sashing, but I haven't quite mastered the art of making wonky look purposeful yet, so it ends up looking like I can't sew straight. Better to try that on something less important, me thinks.
Some of the points are slightly off, and I had to re-sew the green one about 4 times. But overall, I think they look great!
For completeness, I'm showing you a picture of the back. Its a hot mess. Or maybe just a mess, I'm not sure what qualifies the hotness of the mess.
Hope you like it Ceri!
(The front, not the back... we'll just gloss over that shall we?)
