I'm going... are you?!
Oh. My. Gosh. I did a crazy thing yesterday. I bought my sewing summit ticket!
I swear I haven't been that excited about a ticket since I was a die-hard Blink 182 when I was 14 and they released a new tour date.
Seriously, I was clock watching from 9am my time (01:00 MST) right up until 4pm my time (09:00 MST) when they were released. My mouse was poised over that refresh button and I was clicking like my life depended on it.
But it worked, I got my ticket, one of the first 50 so I got a discount, and I am going!!! The tickets all sold out in 10 hours flat. Which is pretty much insane.
I absolutely cannot wait to meet all my American bloggy buds!! The only 3 people I know for sure are going from the UK are Me, Katy C and Katy J. Is anyone else coming?
Since I don't like to post without a picture, I'll leave you with another paper pieced project I made this weekend for my dog crazy Auntie! (as in, she madly likes dogs, not that she is mad like a dog).
The pattern is, once again, from the 318 Patchwork patterns book, and I used the freezer paper technique to piece it. He really should have had an eye, but I couldnt find a suitable button and was pushed for time, so he can do without. Right? :o)
