I'm working on an embroidered version too, but it's a little slow going and my hand had seized up into a weird claw shape last night. Not pretty.
So I needed some light relief in the form of a 9x9 chunk of Summersville and my collection of sharpies.
This morning I was awake at stupid o'clock (that's slightly after "ridiculous o'clock" but before "boy this is early o'clock") so I trimmed and squared and made it up into a little pouch!

On the scale of 1 to cuteness, I think this is an 11 maybe?

Yes. Definitely an 11.

Oh and you may see me getting around the tinterwebs today... Maybe here, or here, or even here!
Most definitely an 11! I saw you on the tinterweb already - and I left a suitably polite response to that post.
ReplyDeleteYup, definitely an 11! I was up at daft o'clock - I think that maybe between 'stupid' and 'boy this is early' o'clock...must be something in the air!
ReplyDeleteAre you enjoying your Summersville embroidery? My (first) one is almost done but I am only doing one house! (And it's still taken me over a fortnight!!)
I'm only just over 32 but still didn't understand a word of those guest posts...;-)
ReplyDeleteOh, cute - looking forward to seeing the stitched version
ReplyDeletepossibly even a 12!
ReplyDeleteOh I love it! Absolutely love it :-)
ReplyDeleteI'm in love! Are sharpies machine washable? I so, I want some for my Summersville!
ReplyDeleteSo cool, and love how evenly it came out *eyes up sharpies with renewed interest*. I was still making 241 totes at silly o'clock last night (don't know why I'm up yet actually!)
ReplyDeleteyes, it's definitely off the richter of cute.
ReplyDeleteActually it's a blooming 12 on your scale!! AWWWWWESOME!! And that's just from Sharpie markers? Wow!!!
ReplyDeleteYep it's definitely an 11+ Just came across from one of your guest posts where age was definitely on the agenda. Shouldn't really be surprised to find you colouring in given you're child like age...do you want to make me feel any more old today ;-) lol
ReplyDeleteYou ma'am, are one funny lady!
ReplyDeleteASS Guru.
Over the top cuteness! And you get highest marks for such neat coloring. Mine would have had colors bleeding together everywhere!
ReplyDeleteThis is possibly the cutest thing I've seen in AGES. Perfect make, LJ!
ReplyDeleteSo cute. Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteThat pouch is so cute.
ReplyDeleteLove it!
ReplyDeleteDefinitely an 11 xxxx
I am very "into" pouches right now and this one is at the very top of my list of beauties!!
ReplyDeleteAn 11 for sure! So cute.
ReplyDeleteCurious, how do sharpies hold up on fabric? Any ink bleeding?
Oh definitely an 11! Gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteThat is so cute and what a great idea
ReplyDeleteLove it - although I don't think I should be talking to you after your age-ist ramblings! xxx
ReplyDeleteThat is so neat!
ReplyDeleteMost definitely super cute!!!
ReplyDeleteThat is super cute! Which sharpies did you use? I had one that bled into the fabric and soaked through, leaving a water like marking...? =D
ReplyDeleteLove...love. I bought this fabric for the same purpose. I love using the fabric into a pouch. Super cute. Did you use sharpie markers or fabric markers?
ReplyDeleteLooks great! I've a mind to embroider some summersville, it's just finding the time!
ReplyDeleteAnd, most definitely an 11!

ReplyDeleteOnly an 11? I'd go at least 20! Love it to bits. What fun you had at naughty hour. I've also been up at that stupid o'clock. I'll call you next time and we can colour in together! X
