Frame Purse Swap Received!

Some time ago now, when I went to visit my sewing besties for my birthday, I received my wonderful frame purse from the In the Frame Purse swap. I've been keeping it quietly to myself so's not to ruin the surprise for anyone, but I think its about time to shout about it now!

I knew as soon as I saw this on Katy's instagram feed that it was for me. I just knew it. But being the wiley minx that she is, she well and truly threw me off the scent. I can just imagine her sniggering like Muttley when she posted a picture of a pin cushion, which clearly was not for me, saying "Hope you like it partner!".

As well as the uber cool purse, which I have been using for a couple of weeks now (and am happy to report has stood up well to being lugged around in my handbag full of other crap) she also gave me some super duper goodies!

Swallow hair pins (I wear these all the time), a tache and thimble brooch (so cute!!), a nellytheelephant tape measure (perfect for knitting projects) and some mini moda charms. 

I've been really looking forward to seeing Simply Colour in person since the pics of it at Spring Market popped up, and now I have, I can tell you, its divine. Perfect tonal blenders. Luscious colours. I need some more of this in my life. Pronto.
